Kanzashi Plum Blossom

Finally I made it!

This is kanzashi that I made a few days ago. It made from cotton fabric. I love the colours, yellow and purple. Actually I want make kanzashi for my kebaya so I can use the kanzashi as hijab or veil accessories. But unfortunately, the kebaya fabric was used up, so I can’t make it.

This is the kebaya that I aimed.

Then, I choose to make kanzashi from cotton fabric. I have purple sasirangan (traditional fabric from South Kalimantan) gown, then I choose purple and yellow fabric to make the kanzashi. Oh yeah, on the photo you can see a hair comb behind the kanzashi. I don’t glue the kanzashi on it, just place the kanzashi on top of it, because I want use the kanzashi on my hijab or veil using pin (not hair comb). Hehehe… :p

Look at my cute peony kanzashi. Its cute, isn’t it? Hehehe… :p

I was a little bored that time, so I take some fabric, cut it, them made kanzashi flower. I use pink and cream shirt fabric to make the flower, and soft green shirt fabric as leaves.

Girls on Doodle

Good Sunday night, everyone!

This is my new doodle. Actually I made the sketch about 2 weeks ago but then abandoned because I was busy with other things and do not have the mood to doodling. My mood is the most important thing to make my doodle this time, because I draw my anger on it.

My doodle this time has a message on it, you can read it. It written in Bahasa Indonesia, in English it means “You are not me and I never want to be you”. Actually I wrote a prose (or a poetry) about my anger too (you can read on my previous blog post, written in Bahasa Indonesia) and make this doodle as blog post cover. I just want to tell to people that everyone of us are unique with our own way, have different passion and taste.

Sometime I feel bad because I release my anger or madness to a prose, poetry, or doodle. But I think its still better that badmouth about something or someone who make me angry.

Sweet Blue Hat Pincushion

Alright, I make another hat pincushion!

Well, actually I make it because I want make a tutorial how to make it. But, I don’t know when will I write the tutorial then upload it here, because I’m in lazy mood to edit the photos. Hehehe… :p

Cute Felt Pouch

Well, happy wednesday everyone!

Today I will write about my felt craft project, that is felt pouch. I sew bird couple applique on the felt pouch. If you read my previous blog post, you will realize the bird couple applique is same with the applique on the apron. Hehehe… :p

Upcycle Jeans to A Cute Apron

I really love recycle nor upcycle things, because it was really fun to do and of course it was also fun to see people face when they realize what we make is a recycle or upcycle thing. This is my newest upcycle project, an apron from old jeans.

I was looking for old clothes that unused from my cupboard but then I realize my good but old clothes were given to some people because my cupboard is full. I hate when my cupboard full of clothes, so I decided to give some clothes (it were still in good condition but I don’t or seldom use it) to people, my neighbor exactly. Actually I have an old pajama, a dress one with batik design. I love that pajama because it cool when used. But I give up on it because it was really old. Another reason, my mother buys me some new pajamas for me. Then, I change that old pajama to be an apron. Unfortunately, I don’t take a picture of it.

Blue Pink Pincushion

Long time do not make a pincushion. Then 2 days ago, I made a new pincushion. It’s small and blue. Actually I’m a little frustrated because it was difficult to take photo on it. Yeah, I’m not a photographer and I just use my tab camera. So, I can’t show you the cuteness of this pincushion. I’m sorry for my lack talent of it :p

Shabby Chic Roses

Hello, I’m back after about  9 days do not write here! Good cloudy afternoon everyone, hehehe… ^_^

Today, I make fabric roses, blue and pink, such a cute colours, isn’t it?

It was very simple. Just make kanzashi rose from shirt fabric then put some leaves from felt. I also put a wire behind it, so it not too weak.
